All that is Echo

All that is Echo is a feminist re-telling of the myth of the nymph Echo. This hybrid art book project, created with Emily Orley, will work in a creative-critical mode, where we explore and experiment with form and register, and create a feminist conversation through and across the book, that allows for silences, tangents, repetitions and incoherences.

 

In this way we hope to subvert the traditional, patriarchal and colonial narratives that surround the character of Echo, and reveal a new multifaceted story for our age, shaped as it has been over the last few years by divisive politics and a global pandemic.
