The second evening of call and response, conversation and connection at the Salon took place on 6 June 2025. Thank you to the charm of Salonistes: Abigail Conway, Jen Harvie, Sophie Hope, Clare Lees, Telma Marotto, Sue Mayo & Abby Sinnott, whose presence and contributions made for another magical evening. 

Sage, subtly persuasive and generous gifting of ideas and artwork inspired by a Dawn Chorus; thinking through multitudes of voices (human and more-than-human), places, times - the here and now and elsewhere and back then. Evocation of people no longer here. Reflections on perception; familial connections (again both human and the more-than); resting and paying attention; mapping terrain by attuning to it, and sonically: bathing in bird song. Learning from each other and the choral invitation to sing together and take turns. And tend to the roots of tomato plants. And take flight, side by side beyond the Salon. Thank you everyone.
